COVRD is new — here is where it stands

We are running in one corner of Southwest Florida with a small number of pros, each invited personally. That is deliberate: it is how we keep the quality of the work high while the product is young.

It also means some things are missing, and we would rather name them than let you find them:

  • No payments in the app yet — you settle with your pro directly.
  • No ratings or reviews. There is not enough history to make them mean anything, and a five-star badge with nothing behind it would be a lie.
  • Getting a copy of your data is done by emailing us, not by a button. (Deleting your account is a button now — it’s on your account page.)

How does a pro get my address?

Only by you choosing them. Until you pick someone, every pro sees the job, the trade and roughly how far it is — never your name, address or phone. When you choose, that one pro gets your details and nobody else does.

Can I get on as a pro?

COVRD is invite-only for pros while we are small. Email support@covrdnow.com and say what you do and where you work.

I posted a job and nothing happened.

Most likely no pro covering that trade works close enough yet — we are in a small number of areas. Email us with the job and we will tell you straight whether there is anyone near you rather than leaving it sitting there.

I want to delete my account.

Open your account page and use “Delete my account”. It asks for your password and makes you type DELETE, because an unlocked phone shouldn’t be enough. One thing it can’t do: a pro you already chose has your name, address and phone in their own records, and deleting your COVRD account doesn’t reach into their books. The page says so before you confirm.

Stop emailing me.

Every notification email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom that works without signing in. Account emails like password resets are not notifications and will still reach you.

I forgot my password.

Use the “Forgot your password?” link on the sign-in page. If you signed in with Sunday, you do not have a password — use that button instead.
